Welcome to the Inspo/Moonboard Page!
Here, you'll find the resources and ideas that have shaped our approach at Our House Party. This page offers insight into the thought process and strategy behind our manifesto policies, highlighting the innovative concepts we're bringing to various constituencies.
We're inspired by the work of influential individuals like Mike Reynolds, who has pioneered self-sustaining housing systems in Mexico. Their dedication has guided our vision and helped us integrate these transformative ideas to benefit people across the UK.
Our House Party was born out of a desire to bring fresh, impactful ideas to the British political landscape. We’re excited to share the inspiration behind our policies and hope you'll be as enthusiastic as we are about implementing these ideas in our communities.

Regional Climate Protection Strategy
Recent climate discussions have often centered on financial aspects and green products, leaving residents' safety in the background. With record-breaking heatwaves, it seems there's been more focus on protecting assets than on protecting people.
Inspired by disaster films like The Day After Tomorrow, which show the devastating effects of climate events, we’ve asked ourselves: How prepared are we for real-life emergencies? Could we handle extreme conditions, food shortages, or mass panic?
To address these concerns, we've consulted with experienced humanitarian aid workers and formed an advisory team in disaster management and environmental protection. Their expertise helps us develop strategies to ensure communities are prepared and resilient in worst-case scenarios, such as earthquakes and tsunamis.
In an era of climate unpredictability, our priority is to safeguard residents by ensuring adequate resources and preparedness. Our focus is on people’s safety and well-being.
Local Allotment Project
The Local Allotment Project (LAP) aims to provide safe, untainted food by establishing spaces for people to grow their own fruits and vegetables. Our dependence on supermarkets, which have a near-monopoly on food supply, became evident during the pandemic when there was a rush for essentials. Additionally, incidents of food tampering have raised health concerns.
Recognizing that not everyone can live on a farm, LAP offers a solution for urban and suburban residents to grow their own food without fear of contamination from chemicals or genetically modified organisms.
Some allotments will feature outdoor kitchens and eating spaces where people can cook and enjoy their harvest. These areas will be regularly cleaned with non-chemical alternatives and will be equipped with all necessary utensils, dishwashers, and security to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
