Welcome to Our House Party!
At Our House Party, we believe in the power of community, creativity, and collective action to drive positive change. We are a grassroots political movement dedicated to building a stress-free and safer future.
We want to implement initiatives such as community gardens, renovating homes to eliminate household bills, providing regional basic income, and other policies to ensure that we can enjoy life, spend more time with loved ones and nature, and experience new adventures and hobbies or reignite old ones.
We only participate in local council elections, not parliamentary races, thereby delivering tangible and immediate results locally. This means you can support your favourite political party nationally and support us locally, becoming a member of both parties.
Join us at Our House Party and be a part of something truly extraordinary. Together, we can make a difference.
No Bill Home Project
We will be integrating the finest sustainable water, energy, and heating solutions. By studying the best examples of self-sustaining housing systems from around the world, we have figured out how to adapt and implement these innovations into British homes to achieve zero utility bills.
Regional Basic Income
A portion of council taxes will be redistributed to residents at a level that alleviates poverty without being excessive. Our strategy aims to give residents more time and peace of mind, reducing the constant worry of making ends meet or living paycheck to paycheck under the current system.
Develop Local Business Grants for SMEs
We believe local businesses are the backbone of our community. Our grants will provide vital financial support to help entrepreneurs thrive, innovate, and create jobs—making the journey to success smoother and strengthening our local economy.

✅ Implementing heatwave & flooding protection
✅ Disability-friendly resources & spaces
✅ Workplace training programs
Plus, our Local Allotment Project ensures fresh food and water are always nearby. With expertise in environmental sciences and climate activism, we're committed to real change. Vote for a safer future!
Currently, many people work endlessly, feel constantly exhausted, struggle financially, and still lack time for their family or personal interests—while their community continues to face issues like poverty and crime.
Our policies aim to change this. By reducing utility and grocery bills, providing a basic income, supporting small businesses, ensuring students gain practical skills, and supporting family caregivers locally, we strive to create an environment where part-time work becomes a realistic and fulfilling way of life for people.
The next local election is in May 2025. To stand as a candidate in your community, send a 3-5 minute video by February 12th 2025 explaining who you are, your background, and relevant experience. Tell us which policies are relevant to your community and why they matter to you, and describe how you would deal with a difficult situation. Successful candidates will be invited for a final interview and prepared for the upcoming elections. To find out more about being a councillor, click here.
As a reminder, we focus only on local council elections. With us, you can gain valuable experience, collaborate with diverse individuals, deliver tangible change within your constituency, and eventually move on to Parliamentary positions as an independent MP.
